Certified Nursing Assistant Healthcare - Full Time (Morning Shift)

Description Location: McLean, VA Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Healthcare team. This position will primarily support residents in our Healthcare/Skilled Nursing setting, while also assisting in other departments within the community as needed. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing required.

• Listed on the Virginia Nurse Aide Registry required. • Current CPR certification required. • At least one-year previous experience in a nursing home, long-term care, assisted living, or CCRC preferred.
• Experience working with older adults, particularly in skilled nursing or individuals with chronic conditions or dementia preferred • Experience working with residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities, including those living with dementia preferred. • Must be willing to rotate within the long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living levels of care. • Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team required. Primary Responsibilities • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. • Aid with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
• Monitor vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and changes in residents' health. • Assist with restorative and rehabilitative activities as directed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in resident rooms and common areas. • Uphold residents' privacy, dignity, and rights according to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
