Responsibilities • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems • Support medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, medication administration, and aseptic techniques with precision and adherence to safety protocols • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care needs, or behavioral health challenges • Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and ensure proper patient positioning to prevent injury during transfers or mobility assistance • Document patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality • Collaborate with healthcare teams across inpatient, outpatient, urgent care, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and post-acute settings to deliver comprehensive patient care Qualifications • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program with current state licensure or registration • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, hospice care, or home & community care programs • Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and infection control practices such as aseptic technique • Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and assist with complex procedures like catheter care or medication administration • Demonstrated compassion for patients of all ages including pediatrics and geriatrics; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams while ensuring patient safety and comfort Join us in providing exceptional care that transforms lives!
