Job Description Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Location: Dove Home Care Nursing Services LLC Overview: Dove Home Care Nursing Services is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Certified Medication Technician (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities: • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.

• Medication Administration: Provide medication administration as per the care plan. • Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals and ensuring clients receive proper nutrition. • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, bed-making, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Companionship: Offer emotional support, engage clients in activities, and promote social interaction to enhance their well-being. • Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator. • Transportation Assistance: Escort clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided and any client changes. Qualifications: • Current CNA certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON). • CPR and First Aid certification (required).
• Physical exam and TB screening (current). • Background check clearance (no older than three months). • COVID-19 vaccination record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Experience in providing personalized and culturally sensitive care to the elderly population, with a focus on understanding the needs and preferences of the diversity community. Preferred Skills: • Experience working with individuals with chronic illnesses. • Previous home care experience is a plus.
