Phlebotomist / Laboratory / PRN

Job Description Summary of Performance Expectations. Performs venous punctures to collect blood specimens for analysis. Education And Credentials Required High School diploma or equivalent.

Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or minimum of three months experience. Preferred Work Experience: Required No previous experience required if certified in phlebotomy. One year of experience in an approved laboratory.

Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
