What you’ll be doing: As a Software Engineer at Salesforce, you will be part of a dynamic global team delivering and supporting technology infrastructure to meet the growth needs of the business. You will be involved in projects that will optimize current services and work on building next generation software for the global production environment. You will collaborate with the Engineering and Development teams to ensure the designed service is fully operational with streamlined processes and procedures for ongoing support and maintenance.

Some of the things you'll be doing include... Identify areas where software can be developed to provide operational efficiency and detailed visibility into metrics and ongoing activities to the customer. Identify areas where software and AI based automation can be developed to reduce errors, increase availability and velocity of operations.

Enhance our automation capabilities and develop orchestration to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Design, develop and test software keeping a, b and c in mind and working with other engineers on the team. Support Puppet and Oracle operational work.

Be excellent in organization and time management. Your technical skills should include Excellent analytical and coding skills. Must have expertise in Python, Javascript, Go Experience in Postgress, Terraform, Kubernetes, Karpenter is preferred.

Knowledge in Database Operations. Experience in public cloud skills AWS/GCP Experience with Puppet Nice to have Knowledge in Elastic Search/Kibana stack. Knowledge in REST APIs.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $178,900 - $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
