Requisition #:661519 Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category: Nursing Support/Patient Care Schedule: Evening Shift Employment Type: Full Time Full Time - Evening shift - 40 hours Shift Schedule: • 11am to 11pm • 1pm to 1am • 3pm to 3am About the Department: The Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Emergency Services is a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, regional Pediatric Trauma Center, Eye Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Cardiac Center for Maryland. The Adult Emergency Department provides 24/7 comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients as well as trauma patients 15 years and older.

The department consists of 76 treatment beds and handles more than 60,000 visits annually. Role Overview: A Nursing Assistant works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and, taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient, performs delegated duties related to patient comfort and personal needs. Activities may include ADLs, nutritional support, patient mobility, vital signs, changing beds, replenishing room supplies, and assisting healthcare team with specific treatments and/or procedures.

Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
