What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Trainee, you’ll work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and senior team members to further develop your maintenance skills across a variety of property needs.

You’ll play an active role in maintaining our communities while continuing to build your technical knowledge and hands-on experience. Your responsibilities will include • Assisting in maintaining the physical condition of the community • Applying and expanding your knowledge of company policies, procedures, and maintenance standards • Assisting with apartment make-readies, general repairs, and basic troubleshooting • Reporting issues or maintenance needs to your supervisor • Taking initiative to build on your existing maintenance skill set • Providing excellent customer service to residents and staff • Participating in meetings, training sessions, and company events • Performing snow removal and emergency on-call services when required This position includes on-the-job training to help you earn your CFC Certification in HVAC, which is required for promotion to Maintenance Mechanic status. One season of A/C repair experience is also required before advancing.
