Job Description

Why join us

Brex is the intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster in more than 200 markets. By combining global corporate cards and banking with intuitive spend management, bill pay, and travel software, Brex enables founders and finance teams to accelerate operations, gain real-time visibility, and control spend effortlessly. Brex’s AI-native automation and world-class service eliminate manual expense and accounting tasks for customers so they can focus on what matters most. Tens of thousands of the world's best companies run on Brex, including DoorDash, Coinbase, Robinhood, Zoom, Plaid, Reddit, and SeatGeek.

Working at Brex allows you to push your limits, challenge the status quo, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. We’re committed to building a diverse team and inclusive culture and believe your potential should only be limited by how big you can dream. We make this a reality by empowering you with the tools, resources, and support you need to grow your career.

Product at Brex

The Product team is at the forefront of Brex's mission to empower employees anywhere to make better financial decisions. With a deep understanding of the business, Product identifies, scopes out, and helps build the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams — such as Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Design — on key decisions. We set strategy and drive products from inception to launch, enabling Brex to grow rapidly and help our customers reach their full potential.

What you’ll do

As a Group Product Manager, you'll own a product area that sits at the center of Brex's highest-priority bets, setting the multi-quarter vision, making hard prioritization calls, and ensuring your team delivers outcomes that move company-level metrics, not just ship features.

This means operating across several modes. Leading strategy, identifying where AI and automation can meaningfully change the customer experience rather than just adding novelty. You’ll be building teams and leading PMs who think clearly, operate independently, and raise their own bar over time. And you'll be a cross-functional operator, driving alignment with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Legal, and GTM leaders on initiatives that don't fit neatly into one team's roadmap.

We expect you to use AI tools aggressively in your own work: for discovery, analysis, prototyping, and decision-making. You’ll also bring that same mindset to how your team builds products. The role is as much about scaling judgment and raising standards as it is about shipping.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in either our San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, or New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office at least 3 days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the multi-quarter vision and strategy for a core product area aligned to Brex’s highest company priorities. Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities that drive durable customer and business impact.
  • Manage and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and career development. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and GTM leaders to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience incorporating AI/ML capabilities (e.g., LLMs, automation systems, predictive models) into customer-facing or internal products, with a strong understanding of where AI meaningfully improves user experience, efficiency, or decision quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, analysis, experimentation, and execution (e.g., rapid prototyping, customer insight synthesis, requirement drafting, data exploration).
  • Establish strong planning, prioritization, and execution frameworks across your portfolio. Define success metrics tied to company-level outcomes and ensure your team delivers measurable results.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management, with direct experience managing and developing PMs.
  • Have owned and scaled complex product areas in B2B, SaaS, or fintech, including driving measurable business outcomes across a multi-team portfolio.
  • Can set strategy across multiple product surfaces and translate it into roadmaps your team actually executes against.
  • Technically fluent enough to engage in architecture and systems tradeoffs with Engineering, not just defer to them.
  • Data-driven by default: you define the metrics, design the experiments, and use the results to make calls.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, making prioritization tradeoffs with incomplete information, and bringing senior stakeholders along.
  • Clear, concise communicator — written and verbal — who can distill complex product problems into narratives that land with executives and cross-functional partners alike.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $280,000 - $350,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

We now show two types of job listings

Same commitment to real jobs. More opportunities for you. Here's how it works.

✓ Verified Employer-Verified Posts

These jobs were posted directly to RJRP by the employer. The company has been verified through our multi-step process. This is our gold standard — the employer is real, the job is real, and you can apply with confidence.

✓ 100% employer verified
🔍 Observed Market-Observed Roles

These roles were detected through employer hiring systems like Workday. They haven't been verified by the employer directly, so we score each one using our Hiring Activity Score — an algorithm that analyzes freshness, specificity, company hiring patterns, and more to estimate whether the role is actively being filled.

📊 Only high-scoring listings are shown

Our promise hasn't changed. We will never show you a listing we can't stand behind. Market-observed roles must pass our scoring threshold before they appear on RJRP. Anything that looks like a ghost job, a talent pipeline, or a dead listing gets filtered out — you'll never see it.
