AI Summary
• Drive strategy and optimization of customer-facing AI chatbots and email agents at Mercury, partnering with Customer Support, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Design and manage AI agent workflows, conduct quality reviews and analytics, and coach performance improvements while ensuring security, compliance, and appropriate escalation to live support
• Own vendor relationships (including Intercom) for AI solutions, manage product releases, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate new AI tooling across the Customer Support organization
• Requires 1–3 years of hands-on experience configuring customer-facing AI agents or chatbots (such as Fin by Intercom, Ada, or similar platforms)
• Sit at the intersection of customer experience, automation quality, and operational efficiency, defining best practices and supporting CS peers in maximizing AI solutions across the team
