Job Description

Company Description SnugFit Solutions, supported by the NIH, is a leading innovator in 3D imaging technology, specializing in accessible, reliable, and highly accurate scanning solutions. Our SnugFit O&P 3D Scanner and EarCam 3D scanner apps are user-friendly tools tailored for Orthotic & Prosthetic Clinics, hearing device companies, and other businesses. Role Description This is a full-time on-site internship role for a 3D AI Intern located in McLean, VA.

The intern will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and optimization of 3D based AI algorithms, testing and enhancing 3D applications, and supporting research related to 3D imaging technologies. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the performance of existing systems and document findings and progress. Opportunities to work with proprietary technologies will be available.

Qualifications • Programming skills, including proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages • You must be familiar with and have experience on 3D based AI networks • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and contribute to peer learning and team development • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Passion for learning and applying new technologies in 3D computer vision • Familiarity with 3D scanning technology and/or image processing is a plus • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
