A Brief Overview As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training to become a skilled auto glass technician. After successfully completing our training program, you will earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and acquire essential skills for independent glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations.

What You Will Do • Receive paid training through in-depth, hands-on and classroom instruction. • Assist in the installation and repair of auto glass while gaining practical experience.

• Learn to recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot issues, and conduct diagnostic tests. • Study and pass certification tests to demonstrate your expertise in installations. • Safely operate company and customer vehicles along with the necessary tools and materials.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned and comply with all company standards. What You'll Get: • Competitive weekly pay starting at $25.50/hour, increasing to $30.25/hour post-training and certification. • Earn extra by adding wiper blades for customer safety.

• Comprehensive training and all the tools you need for success. Education Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent preferred. • Valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.

Experience Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age or older. Skills and Abilities • Ability to lift and carry items up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. • Capable of standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, and executing body movements like bending and twisting.

• Proficient in safely using various hand tools and power tools. • Ability to drive in compliance with all laws and regulations and agree to monitoring via safety cameras. • Professionalism and a passion for outstanding customer service.
• Capability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. • Experience handling chemicals safely as per industry standards. • Flexibility with scheduled days and hours to meet customer needs.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools for recalibrations and troubleshooting. • Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and collaboratively. • Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting technical directions in English.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities. • Professional appearance in adherence to company dress code and safety protocols. • Ability to maintain performance under pressure and meet productivity targets.
