Junior Product Software Engineer

The project supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians.

The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The TTO is performed out of the Peraton facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities.

Candidate will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary language. The development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the team. This position will allow an early career software developer to develop and broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use current technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces.

Use of these technologies allows for full stack development, to include ease of building User Interfaces. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements • Debug existing software and correct defects • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
