Job Description
Role Overview Every day you will collect high‑quality plasma that becomes life‑changing medicine. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager, screen plasma donors, and perform phlebotomy to support center operations in a highly customer‑service oriented environment. Responsibilities • Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
- Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs and finger‑stick results. • Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. • Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
- Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach, including above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally and 5 lbs. regularly.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance. • Capacity to use gloves for prolonged periods, as 90% of tasks involve potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1). • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (preferred). Compensation and Benefits Starting hourly wage: $16.00 (subject to state or local minimum wage rules). U.S. employees earn up to 80 hours of sick time annually and new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
