Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

The Mission

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives in a lean, high-growth environment. At every, we don’t have the volume to justify siloed roles—we need a holistic thinker who can zoom out to map complex UX strategy and zoom in to execute crisp, pixel-perfect UI.
You will be the sole design authority in our digital product squad. You won’t just be handing off screens; you will be partnering with Engineering and Product to define what we build and how it behaves. If you are an independent operator who loves taking a feature from a rough idea to a shipped, revenue-generating reality, this is for you.

What You Will Own

You will hold the keys to the end-to-end design of our digital ecosystem. Specifically:

• Web (Acquisition): Landing page frameworks, bundle selection, plan pages, and checkout optimization.
• Account (Logged-in Experience): This is the core of our retention. You will design subscription editing, meal selection, loyalty/points systems, and support flows (pause, skip, cancel).
• The Future Mobile App: You will lead the UX architecture and UI from 0 → 1.
• Design Operations: Owning the Design System, UI library, and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and speed.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Product Design (UX + UI)

• Translate unclear problems (e.g., "Our account area isn't an experience yet" ) into clear flows, concepts, and prototypes.
• Map customer journeys across the lifecycle: Acquisition → Onboarding → Subscription → Retention → Reactivation.
• Execute high-fidelity UI that is mobile-first, clean, and builds habits.

2. Engineering Collaboration

• Partner closely with our Tech Lead and Developers. You must understand technical constraints and co-create solutions that avoid engineering debt.
• Provide dev-ready specs. You don’t just throw designs over the wall; you provide precise handovers (Figma specs, tokens, components) and make independent trade-offs to keep sprints moving.

3. Strategy & Research

• Plan and execute lightweight research (user interviews, usability tests, card sorts) without needing a dedicated researcher.
• Proactively propose ideas based on data (using tools like Hotjar or GA4) rather than waiting for a Product Manager to assign tasks.

Who You Are

We are looking for a "builder"—someone who has done this before in a startup environment.
Must-Haves:

• Experience: 4–6+ years of experience shipping digital products. You are senior enough to self-direct and work efficiently with senior engineers.
• The "Full Stack" Designer: You are as comfortable mapping a complex subscription flow on a whiteboard as you are polishing UI components in Figma.
• Startup DNA: You have worked at a startup (20–200 people) where you were one of the few designers. You are comfortable with ambiguity.
• Logged-in Experience: You have designed complex applications (dashboards, SaaS, accounts), not just marketing websites.
• Mobile-First: Deep experience designing for mobile web and native apps.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in Subscription, E-commerce, Food/Wellness, or Lifestyle sectors.
• Experience with loyalty programs or habit-building behavioral design.

The Team Setup

You will report to the Head of Product and work daily in a squad with:

• Product: Product Owner, Product Manager, Jr. E-commerce Manager.
• Tech: Tech Lead and Developers (you will work closely with them on feasibility).
• Marketing: Brand, Performance, and CRM (collaborating on growth experiments and visual identity).

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) to shape intuitive, beautiful, and cohesive experiences across our customer journey.
You’ll be the dedicated product designer at every — working across our browser-based, mobile-first platform, subscription flows, and account experience. You’ll work closely with our Head of Digital Product, Tech Lead, and Marketing Team to create clear, intuitive, polished product experiences that help people build healthier habits with ease.
This is a role for someone who enjoys owning the full spectrum of UX and UI, working end-to-end, and having meaningful impact in a lean, collaborative team.
Our product spans both a mobile-first ecommerce acquisition experience and a recurring account-based subscription platform — you’ll help connect these into one coherent, intuitive experience. It’s a responsive, mobile-first browser experience (not yet a native app), so you should be comfortable designing complex product flows within a web environment.
