About This Role Develops projected annual requirements for assigned part families.Assists in the development of annual purchase agreements with suppliers.Develops and communicates purchased parts schedules to Lycoming's suppliers.Responsible for planning and rescheduling of assigned parts in Oracle system.Places purchase orders with suppliers.Plans, schedules, and expedites assigned purchased parts to ensure timely availability of quality components.Negotiates pricing as required with oversight from the Procurement manager.Liaises with suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues.Works with the Accounting department to resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.Responsible for inventory reduction planning.
