This role emphasizes hands-on technical execution, platform ownership, and close collaboration with product, design, and engineering partners to deliver high-quality mobile solutions aligned with business objectives and member needs.Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile banking features for iOS and/or Android platforms • Resolve production issues and contribute to application stability, performance, and scalability • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, including backend engineers, designers, analysts, and product owners • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement • Ensure adherence to platform-specific development standards, security requirements, and best practices • Write and maintain unit and UI tests; participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality • Stay current with mobile OS updates, platform changes, and emerging mobile development trends • Advocate for mobile platform excellence and contribute to reusable components and shared libraries • Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing • Support enterprise-wide mobile initiatives and platform evolution (senior-level contributions as applicable) Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Progressive experience in mobile application development (level-dependent) • Proficiency in one or more of the following: • iOS: Swift, Objective-C, Xcode • Android: Kotlin, Java, Android Studio • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (SAFe preferred) • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications • Knowledge of mobile accessibility standards and best practices • Experience with mobile performance optimization and monitoring
