HVAC Install Apprentice

Position Overview: The HVAC Install Apprentice will assist with the installation of gas heating equipment, hot water heaters, fireplace logs, central air conditioning and heat pump units. Assist with installation of ductwork, fuel lines and electrical upgrades as necessary. Assist with minor adjustment and repair of residential heating and air conditioning equipment.

Pay range for this Apprentice role is $22.21 - $27.82/hr. Responsibilities: • Assist in the proper installation of various HVAC equipment. • Assist in the proper installation of water heaters.

• Safely transport and handle materials. • Capable of installing and testing fuel lines. • Assist with the installation of utility-related work.
• Proper completion of all necessary paperwork. Job Requirements: • Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) • EPA Universal Certification for recovery and installation of refrigerants is preferred • Valid Driver’s License. • Ability to speak, read, and write English in a proficient manner • Must be familiar with and able to utilize electronic equipment, including, but not limited to a computer, for the purposes of queries’ and accurate data entry • Must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to use all hand and power tools associated with the type of work being performed.
