Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails (ROR) for a full-time direct hire position. The role involves developing and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails, programming well-constructed and testable code. The candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities: • Act as a developer for the blood supply management product. • Contribute to the development and architecture of mission-critical software. • Collaborate with a diverse team of developers and stakeholders.

• Support applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Utilize a tech stack including GCP, Ruby on Rails, Vue, PostgreSQL, and Terraform. • Deliver high quality code to the healthcare industry with high throughput and self-driven initiative.
• Perform other duties as necessary. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. • Expert level experience in software development with over 8 years in the field, including 5+ years in Ruby on Rails.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL with 5+ years of experience. • Strong front-end development skills using Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Previous experience in healthcare or medical device development (FDA, 510k) is a plus.
