Responsibilities • Track/manage highly sensitive security processes. • Maintain highly sensitive security information, disclosed only to authorized recipients, in appropriate formats, and within constraints of relevant laws (e.g., the Privacy Act and FOIA).

• Prepare accurate and complete reports that document processes, outcomes, and findings. • Provide basic security analysis and risk recommendations to decision makers and customers. • Create products based on analysis of security and/or counterintelligence data.

Job Summary Security and Counterintelligence is responsible for the protection of NSA/CSS information, people, and facilities worldwide. Security Information Specialists support the mission primarily through the Office of Personnel Security by tracking, managing and maintaining sensitive security information. They provide an array of support, including creating and maintaining security records, updating security systems of record, applying Intelligence Community and NSA/CSS policies for vetting security clearances or physical access, evaluating security clearance requests, and completing other administrative tasks associated with the processing of security clearances.

Through this support the Security Information Specialist will learn the intricate details of each process which will enable career growth throughout Security and Counterintelligence and beyond. Qualifications The minimum acceptable qualifications are: ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL Entry with a high school diploma or GED and no experience. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule Pay: Salary offers are based on education level and years of experience.

Salary Range: $35,395 – $74,318 (Entry/Developmental). Training provided as needed. Benefits: NSA offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Work schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 hours per day between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (flexible).

DCIPS Trial Period: Two‑year trial for most staff, one‑year for veterans' preference employees. Completion is contingent on successful performance review and Agency needs. Employment ends if no continued employment certification is granted.
