As a SQL DBA, the candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server databases, including 2022 Datacenter environments with SSIS, ETL, replication, clustering, and patching. The role involves designing and managing database structures, developing stored procedures, and supporting developers with SQL creation and analysis.

The DBA ensures database performance, reliability, and security while performing maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Additionally, the position supports multiple database platforms such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL to ensure optimal data management across systems. Required Skills • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Equivalent work experience may be considered. • SMEs should have 8+ years of experience across a wide range of database technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.). • The Offeror’s SMEs are required to have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in database management.

• Extensive SQL experience and knowledge with developing data structures and stored procedures, and to support/install new databases. • Provide ‘SQL’ creation and analysis support for developers. • SQL Server Management Studios (SSMS) • SQL Server 2022 Datacenter (SSIS, ETL, HA, Replication, Clustering, STIG/patching) ~25 Databases • The SMEs must have proficiency in the following database disciplines: MS SQL, SQL Server, SQL Cluster Environments, Maria DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS Access.
• The SMEs must be proficient in creating and managing standalone SQL and Oracle databases. • SMEs must be able to identify issues, perform server maintenance, install software patches, etc. Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid) Status: Full Time Clearance: Public Trust Salary: $100-120k/A with benefits YSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
