Assist in performance tuning, space management, and capacity planning for mission-critical environments. • Support backup and recovery operations using Oracle tools and ZFS appliances. • Respond to alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with senior DBAs and system administrators to maintain secure, optimized, and compliant database configurations. • Document system changes and contribute to configuration and capacity reports. What you'll need to succeed: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
0-2 years of experience in database administration or related IT support roles. • Foundational knowledge of relational database systems, particularly Oracle. • Familiarity with database performance monitoring, backup, and recovery procedures.
Understanding of basic system administration tasks, including memory and storage management. • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and respond to system alerts and incidents. • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Active DoD Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one. SALARY RANGE: $64,000 - $76,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
