As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time College Campus Dispatcher in Elizabethtown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM How This Role Works: • Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule.

This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next.

It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an educational campus environment.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with campus staff, students, visitors, and/or local first responders as appropriate. • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. • Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and location guidelines.
• Support a professional campus atmosphere by providing directions, assisting visitors, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or emergencies to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: • Be at least 21 years of age. • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
